Idle
How do I adjust the idle on my 88 3.0L dohc it idle's at about 1250rpm's at opperating temp.

88 Nissan trucks never came with a 3.0L DOHC, so I'll assume you're talking about the VG30i (SOHC) V6.

Prior to making any adjustments, make sure you don't have another problem causing the increase in idle, such as a vacuum leak or excessive fuel pressure. Check for stored DTC's.
