power seat

has anyone ever experienced this.................. the drivers side power seat seems to move on its own. i know i have the memory option but the back part seems to move to a more upright position ever so slowly and a couple of times a week i have to reset it back to a more comfortable position. i have turned off the memory option but it still seems to do it.

BTW both memory ajustments are set for very short people so i know its not related
its a 2002 le

This is the first I've heard of this issue. There might be a loose or shorted wire that's connecting from time to time. Take the seat out, if you have to and maybe apart and look at the switch and wirings.

I have a 2004 and the same thing happens with mine except mine gets more reclined slightly and I reset it every week or so.

After searching on this forum, I found somebody said that what happens to them is when you get out of or into your seat, your leg hits the button and moves the seat. The blame is really the placement of the buttons. After I read that post, I catch myself doing it a lot.

I hate the power seat option...
