Hello...new to this
Can anyone help advise me on how to change the bulbs in the license plate lights, ive got a 1996 japanese version of the Pathfinder....the lights appear to be sealed and are on either side of the plate (the spare wheel is under the truck)...does anyone know how to get at these bulbs? many thanks

I've done this once. We'll, actually 2x. I had the wrong bulb the first time. It takes about 10 minutes. There is a handle on the inside which is attached with 2 screws. You need to remove those screws (maybe under some plastic you need to pry up). Then, you just go around the outside of the plastic and pull it away from the metal frame. The fasteners will unpop and allow you to remove the plastic. Once you do that you will have access to the light bulbs that light up the license plate. I recommend replacing both bulbs so you don't ever have to do it again.
