install factory navigation to replace bose audio system

im thinking about getting the factory navigation in my 03 pathfinder SE. i have the factory bose system in it already, but is it possible to put the navigation system into my truck without having to cut any wires or make any additions....? any info will be greatly aprreciated.

I'm not sure about the wiring configuration, but you will have to get the single-DIN casette player that will replace your existing BOSE stereo. That tape deck is also BOSE. CD changer capability will be moved to the trunk area (using the right storage bin) via a CD changer. I am not sure if these Pathys are already pre-wired for these varying options. Also, you will probably have to replace your center console bezel (?) to incorporate the nav (which is wider) and the single-DIN cassette.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Navi models had a differant main electrical harness than non-Navi models. Your Nissan parts dept. should be able to tell you if a Navi install is possible.
