200,000 miles coming up - Need advise

All:

New forum reader and like what I've read. I'm coming up on 200k on my 2001 pathfinder and recently began hearing a slight ticking from what I think is the timing chain. Not sure how expensive it would be to repair but I think I'll go ahead and do it as this is the ONLY failed part mechanical I've had with the car... not including batteries, brakes and shocks. This has been the most reliable car I've owned and would get another if I didn't need a truck so bad.

Looking for ideas and opinions.

Thanks in advance

Make sure it's not a lifter or other noise before having repairs done! Have you had your power valve screws checked? You may want to... read this.

You actually have three timing chains and I'd be very surprised if it's the source of your "ticking" noise.
