Pathfinder brake job question

Hey help this female figure out whats up.. I went and had my front brake pads and rotors replaced on my 98 pathy it has 137 ,000 give or take miles..I drove it around for a couple of weeks and it seemed to have a soft pedal ..thinking why I took it for a test drive and every now and them when I pumped the brakes they would get harder so this not happening everry time I didn t know if it was air or not...
I took it back to shop and they adjusted the back brakes ..this helped alot ..now I see a drop or two under tires on front now..is this normal or should I get it checked somewhere else?
One more questionn I hear a crackling sound when I cut engine off after a trip to store..is this the heat shield >>? it is coming from front of engine and once engine starts to cool is slows down my fluid is good in radiator etc..

best way to check for a leak like that is to wash teh vehicle and let it dry. Then park on a piece of cardboard under the suspect area if you want to check yourself. You definitely dont want any fluid coming from your brakes. As far as the crackling sound goes it is more than likely just exhaust components that are cooling such as heat shields so its nothing to worry about.

If it is leaking brake fluid at ALL you should take it back to the shop immediately and have them check your lines and bleeder screws to see what's leaking. If you jammed on the brakes hard in an emergency it may burst a line and then you'd have NO brakes.

Crackling? Like a fast crackle or a slow tick of hot metal cooling off?
