93 Pathfinder Ball Joints

I am struggling with replacing the lower ball joints on my daughter's Pathfinder. I have the joint loose from the knuckle, but I do not seem to have enough clearance between the knuckle and the CV Boot to remove the ball joint.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I apologize if this a commonly asked question. I'm new.

Thanks!

smj: Why would you need to remove the t-bar to do the lowers? Just de-tension the adjusters. Also, why remove the whole upper control arm/spindle/bushings when doing the upper BJ? I think your instructions need some work or are applicable to a different model, man.

I had to pull the CV joint when I did my lower balljoints. There's no room for the BJ to be removed with the CV in place.

Lower Ball Joints

I have discovered that the cv boots are definitely in the way. I undid the upper ball joint from the control arm and was able to slide the knuckle from the spindle far enough to get the lower ball joint in.
