90 Pathy spare tire carrier

I recently picked up a 95 Pathfinder XE, but it is set up to carry the spare tire in the interior cargo area. Question is, can you add the external rear spare tire carrier to these vehicles? I thought about maybe looking for one at a wreckers and putting it on, but I'm not sure about where to locate the holes or if this is even a possibility. That failing, does anyone make an aftermarket spare tire carrier for these trucks?

No such thing as an aftermarket tire carrier unless you get one that slides into the hitch or one that replaces the entire rear bumper with an integrated carrier.

From what I've seen, yes you can add one but I'm really unsure as to whether the interior nuts to bolt it to are pre-existing in Pathfinders that came without a carrier. I know mine has no brackets or internal nuts above the pass. side taillight.
