I have a friend with a 1989 pathfinder, and when she starts it, it makes a strange beeping sound. At one point it wouldn't start so she took it into the garage and they replaced the starter, seemed to have fixed the problem, but now its doing it again.

Any ideas?

Mine beeps several times after starting IIRC. It's normal. Small, unobtrusive beeping from under the dash, yes-no?

I am just relaying the message, no after market alarm, and yes I think all it is is a "small, unobtrusive beeping from under the dash.
