2005 Pathfinder LE

Low tire pressure sensors went out while I was on a 2,000 mile trip
on and off with the ten second screeching all the way.

Still under warranty but I said goodbye to them, took them out screw that.

Just another Nissan quality issue. Next time it is TOYOTA for me.

The tires were fine and all inflated properly.

The light on the dash will come on but it is in the corner and I just covered it with a piece of small black electrical tape, can't even tell it is there. At least the noise is gone.

Shame you have to do that with a vehicle that almost costs 40,000.00 dollars

I wish someone from Nissan would read these forums .... quality control is going way down.

If you removed the offending tire pressure sending unit(s), then the light would not be on. Don't forget that the tire pressure sender sends the alarm code as far as the KEYFOB would. The audible alarm shuts off after x amount of starts.

The light is on and they are gone.

The darn thing would go off --- reset and sound the alarm again and again and again. I lived through it don't tell me what happened, I had to listen to the darn thing for over 10 hours. Drove me nuts.

Can't just cut a wire it is a circuit board set up.

Spare has no low pressure sensor. Just a regular stem.

I checked . I mean that noise was driving me crazy, sorry if I was a little short in any posts, wasn't really upset with any poster -- just the damn incident.
