2001 pathfinder transmission

Hi, my automatic transmission won't shift properly anymore into high gear and its starting to get a little rough shifting in low gear. It doesn't seem to go anywhere when I try to pass or just put the pedal down. Also I have a squeaky fan belt I just looked at it and its cracked pretty bad. How do you change that.
Thanks,
Lebby

Don't worry about the belt right now, you have a serious transmission problem and should see a transmission shop.

Yes I checked the fluid many times, also I had a mechanic check it while it was in for an oil change and he said it was fine. Maybe your right but I checked it hot and cold like it has in the owners manual.

Does it only do that when it's cold or all the time? There's a TSB out for the transmission computer going bad on people...

What will they do in regards to the TSB. I've noticed that my 02' won't shift into overdrive on the interstate when the engine is cold/ early in travel. It will eventually shift into OD but this past weekend, I looked down and my RPMs were up around 2600 at 65 mph.

Like I said, it eventually sorted itself out but it was definitely weird.

Have you had the transmission serviced? You might consider a complete flush.
