Hi All,

I have a 98 Pathy that has the stock alarm with remote.
I noticed that when the Pathy is locked and I open the tailgate with the key, the alarm goes off with horn and headlights.
However this does not happens when I unlock the front doors with the key...
Is that how it's supposed to be?

you may have a bad key switch on the t/gate. its a little electric switch that fits around the door lock cylinder.

Exactly when is the alarm supposed to go off?
