2001 pathfinder's Shock Absorber Question

when breaking, somehow my 2001 pathfinder's back shakes in upside motion while the frontside sags down...i know it should do that bec of the force of breaking but it should not be too much where you see that the back shakes a bit... is that because of a weak shock absorber?

and seems like only two type of KYB rear shocks are suited for 2001 2WD model... can you use other shocks even if its not specified for 2001 path 2WD? like use the one for 4WD rancho shocks to use it for 2WD? whats is the difference?

and anybody knows the benefits/difference between KYB GR2 and KYB Gas-A-Just Shock Absorbers?

thanks

Umm yeah, adjustability
Benefits? Again, adjustability to your preference.

I have Ranchos on my 01 2wd, They really stiffened up the rear end so the back end does not sway so much while turning.

To the best of my knowledge KYB Gas-A-Justs are NOT adjustable, they are SELF-adjusting. I have a set on my Impulse.

Test your shocks. Push down and bounce one corner of the vehicle as hard as you can, then let go. If it stops bouncing after one bounce, they are fine. If it takes two or three bounces to stop moving, they are likely shot.
