Problem Identifying Hose?

hello i am looking for a hose on a 1987 Pathfinder V6 its a weird hose it connects to the bottom of the air cleaner and connects to the valve cover gasket.. its bigger on one side than the other and it appears to be plastic? i would of taken a photo of it on the vehicle but i got it out of town and use it to go into the mountains with...
any info is great also i guess i cant attach photos?

is the PVC hose?

I thought thats what it was but i went to autozrap and napa and some foriegn place and they couldnt identify it! lol oh well

It's probably the air vent for the crankcase. If the PCV valve sucks air out of the crankcase, air has to get in somewhere. The PCV valve would be eslewhere. This seems to be a common setup for Nissan. Is there a little filter where the hose connects to the air cleaner?
