Dear Sirs,
I have a 98 Pathy, still running well, except for the fact that the
Velocity Speed Sensor got broke, so I''ve no working speedometer.
I havent been able to find a spare VSS here in Chile, haven't
been able to fix the problem.

I have also noticed that my gas mileage is low, only about 12 mpg
in highway. Do you know if there is a relation between a faulty
VSS and poor gas mileage?

Any hints, any suggestions? Thank a lot for your help

I doubt it, though with no speedometer you have to guess at how many km/miles you've driven, eh?

I calculated fuel efficiency filling the tank, travelling a known amout of miles, then
filling the tank again. Not very precise, but even if not precise, my gas
mileage seem pretty low.
