is there any restriction on transmission fluids for 2001 Pathfinder? - like , can i use synthetic?-what is the interval anyway of changing transmission fluids. -dont have the manual

Synthetic Dexron ATF is always the better choice.

I would recommend every 30k for regualr dino ATF and if you go synthetic, double the interval to 60k. I would be willing to bet it has never been done on yours, but you didn't state how many miles you have on it. In most cases, this service has a tendency to be overlooked.

Thanks very much, i just bought my 2001 pathfinder, it has 78500 on it - need to change all the fluids to make sure they'll be new.

i put full syn in the tranny first thing when i bought my 01 with 90k on it.
