Friend gave me a 93 Pathfinder 4wd. Had oil idiot light problems. Replaced the timing belt, water pump, timing pulley, belts and hoses. Started driving it 5 miles into the maiden voyage the idiot light came back on while decelerating. If you turn the key off the light gos out. A little lifter noise when the light comes on. The truck has 230000 miles on it and after searching the forum I could almost bet that its the bearings that are worn out. tried to put a pressure gauge on it and could not find the right fitting to screw into the block. Seam to be a metric something or other. Can anyone shead some light on this? Thanks in advance for posting. Mike
The oil pressure switch is located just above the oil filter. Metric threads? No way, on a Nissan?

You never know, it could just simply be a shitty pressure switch. Tried using a heavier weight oil in it?
