Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and any input would me much appreciated.

Last week my car was totaled (older car 97 Bonneville SSE) and I came across a 2002 Pathfinder LE with 58K miles. It's loaded and I have to say that I liked it quite a bit. I've never owned an SUV, but I know enough about the ones to stay away from (Trailblazer, Durango, Montero..etc).

He's asking $13K for it, private owner...actually it belonged to my mechanic. Like I said, it's loaded, black w/ black leather, heated seats, moonroof, auto climate control, A/C blows cold as hell, all power and everything seems to be in good working order.

It seems almost like a steal, I just don't wanna get snowed. All comments will be greatly appriciated. Thanks

I would just check the price against KBB.com or edmunds.com to see if the price sounds about right. It doesn't sound like too bad of a deal to me if it's in excellent shape. Does it have any mods, like a lift or offroad stuff? That might change the pricing a little.

Doesnt sound too far off - I would also check autotrader.com you can get an idea of the price for a pathy the same age...

I think my 99.5 is "worth" about 10K CDN

sounds like a good price to me, especially if it's a 4x4. 58k is practically brand new in my book!

i've got an 01 w/90k. just like yours but blue w/no heated seats and mine is 2x4.

i paid 8k plus tax from a private seller.
