94 pathfinder rear speakers

hey guys i just found this forum and used the search button to try and find a thread on how to remove the rear speakers in a 94 pathfinder for replacement...i couldn't find anything....anyone know the correct way to get to them...thanks

Pull the headliner and unscrew the screws holding them in.

If it's like my 95', just pop off the grills covering the speakers and take out the four screws holding them in place. If you're replacing them with aftermarket speakers, I'll go ahead and warn you that not all 5x7's will fit in the replacement area that those Clarions came out of. I had this problem with my Sony 5x7's. The baskets on those Clarions are way smaller..Peace.
