o.O Are you asking if there are aftermarket brake upgrades or just wanting to know name brands?

i know there are aftermarket upgrades. since i bought my pfinder 2 years ago it has constantly gone in and out of the dealer because of the rotors warping. each time they have either cut or replaced the rotors under warrenty, which is now up. so im looking to upgrade. maybe some drilled and/or slotted rotors and performance pads. just wondering what people here have tryed, and liked or disliked.

How many times has this happened and do you know why?

Warped rotors can also be caused by improperly torquing down the lug nuts.

about three or four times in the past 2 years, the local dealer does not realy have the best service reputation. i have heard that it can be caused by inproper torque. do you know what the proper torque should be for future referance?

I just got my Pathfinder about a month ago and I just checked my pads and torqued all of the wheels. The dealer had swapped all 4 wheels and tires from another Pathfinder before I bought it so I was suspect on how tight they had put the lugs back on. Some were really tight and I thought I was going to break them while trying to loosen them. Others weren't as tight.

I think the proper torque is 92 foot pounds but I can't remember for sure. It's listed in the owners manual.
