Hey hows it going, this is my first non-domestic vehicle and I love it, truck runs great, 5 spd 4x4 4 dr. The only problem I have right now that I can't figure out is that on dry/wet conditions when I accelerate the ass end kicks out a bit. The older tires were crap so I changed them and it helped a bit. I checked the lateral bar with and w/o vehicle load and it seems okay, no signs of physical damage. No idea where to look now. Any ideas would be great, thanks.
Tire dressing is supposed to be sprayed on the sidewall not the tread of the tire.
seriously
what do you mean? Are you flooring it? does it kick out to the same side each time? Do you have a 350 with a blower under the hood? I just cant see a stock pathy "kicking" out on dry pavement under anything but full throttle.

Under part throttle, doesn't take much. It just feels like the body is either straightening out or dog tracking while accelerating. This is a stock 3.0 v6. Happens all the time and in the same direction, feels like the ass end is kicking out to the right hand side.
Check your frame for rust, and check your rear axle control arms for slop or play.

The bushings on both lower control arms are "soft" but seem the same in regards to play. I was wondering if there was maybe a common issue. If not then I'll prolly start with the lateral bar. Thanks.
ok, jack up the rear end and get in there with a prybar, check everything for excessive play. Hows the frame looking BTW, since its a canadian ehh I cant imagine its good.

You could also simply lay underneath and give it some bench presses while watching the suspension parts move. It should bounce enough to see if there's a lot of play in anything.

Well I'm gonna check the bushings again I guess, the chassis isn't at all that bad. There is some rust under the back seat floor pan, odd how it's inside. Also have to get the defrost fixed somehow, the tab is broken off. Snow fall has been alot here, and this truck is awesome in the snow, too much fun. So what's this about being able to cram a 350C into this tings, what else can be done and were can I get more info? Thanks.
