I use the Tekonsha Prodigy Tekonsha
You can also get the plug and play wiring cable to plug the controller into the Pathfinder Tekonsha... Very easy and they work great!... I use this controller on My '05 Pathfinder and my Chevy 2500HD... Hope this helps!......... Triffid

I think you need a relay for the brake controller also. They only installed it on the '05 and saved a buck on the '06 and up.

This is from Courtesy parts info
Nissan factory replacement electrical Relay. Nissan part numbers 25230-79964 and 25230-79963.
2006 and newer year model Nissan Pathfinder with a VIN ending in -763841 and higher
(If your Titan or Pathfinder has a Nissan trailer hitch, this relay is sold as a replacement.
For aftermarket (Non-Nissan) Trailer Hitch this relay can be added to the trailer power braking system)

I installed mine in the pocket above the 4wd selection switch... The plug-in connection for the brake controller is behind the panel above the drivers right leg... My '05 already had the relay installed but the newer ones you will have to add it... I'll try and take some pictures this weekend............... Triffid

Trailer wiring controllers are so small that most just get tucked under a wall panel and hidden. Most cost $20 or so anyway, what's the big deal? I've got three or four of them from the junkyard in my garage...

Oh I see. A trailer BRAKE controller. I was referring to simple wiring converters for the rear end.
