Question timing belt to timing chain

I will soon be doing a lot of work on my 95 pathy and i will be doing the timing belt but i am wondering if it is possible or even a good idea to have it changed to a timing chain instead of a belt?

I don't think it's possible because.... wouldn't the chain require constant lubrication? Running metal on metal at high speed and for a good length of time would certainly lead to engine failure.

N path is correct. It would be easier to put in a different engine, the convert e VG30 to a chain. Yes you would need to rig up a lub system, new front covers, new cam gears, crank gear, chain tensioner, and its just not worth it. Timing chain tensioners go about as often as our belts need to be changed, so it wouldnt save any work in the long run. The belt works fine its not like it needs to be changed every 3000 miles.
