Is there a way to open a locked door by pulling on the handle?

Maybe I'm a little a N a l, but is there a way to open a locked pathy door by modifying the inside door handle? As we all know, if you pull on the inside handle when the door is locked, you must unlock the door first before exiting. Most vehicles you can unlock from the inside by pulling on the handle.

Just a thought - no flames, please...

lol reading the question without reading the post makes people want to say something bad to you. but I get what you mean. I think you would have to change the whole lock mechanism in order to achieve what you want. In the cars that have that, the doors are only able to be opened when the car is in park or off I believe. I really don't have an answer but I am interested to find out.

Is the locking thing happening automatically like at x miles per hour? If there is no procedure in the owners manual for disabling the feature then you have to go to the wiring guide and figure out how to disable it. I doubt if there is a hardware solution.

Of course the simplest thing is to just live with it.
