1995 2WD Odometer/Trip not working

In my 1995 Pathfinder 2WD Odometer and trip is not working, well most of this time it is not.

The speedometer works fine.

I was wondering if it's a mechanical thing like a cable or is it electric motor? I have not looked yet, but maybe there are some wires loose. Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks,

Tim Chism

I believe it's still mechanically-driven inside, if it's not an LCD. It'd have to be, to turn all those little cylinders with numbers on them. The gauges are notoriously flaky on WD21's, though.

I took it a part to day, and the odometer is on a circuit board. All the cables that plug into the back were in place, nothing was loose. Looks like I will need to buy whole new panel. It's all concealed including gas guage, rpm, clock, speedometer, odometer, tripometer, temp, etc.

Thanks!
