Wheel spacers, hub Centric vs non..

What is the difference between Hub centric wheel spacers and non? I see the H&R spacers have a smaller hole and the lugs are not attached and I've found some spacers on ebay that look like the lugs are attached and the center hole is larger, i'm assuming this is because they are multi application spacers..

if I remember right centric is CENTERED on the hub and not the wheel studs. I've always heard bad things about wheel spacers so I wouldnt put them on, but thats just my 2 cents.

I know what you mean, I'm not totally in love with the idea of spacers either but I hate the way my truck looks like it has an overbit lol.. and I don't really want to give up my LE (or SE which ever they are) wheels..
