bose not working in 05se

Weirdest thing today. Got in the SE , turned on the radio. No sound..no radio, no cd, nothing. THe head unit was working, shuffled CD's, showed how much time elapsed, volume up and down working and all, loaded and unloaded CDs...but no sound whatsoever. Even searched for a mute button and found none.
So I drove for an hour or so. Parked it, came back out a few hours later, started it up..and voila, everything worked just fine!
You reckon there is a fuse for a power booster somewhere that was malfunctioning or a reset of some sort? Ideas?

I think it's the unit itself. Take it in when it stops working and they'll see the problem themselves and would be more willing to replace it.

My pathy is to old to have this issue, however I have had this issue with my Caddilac with the bose system. I tested it when it happened, the amplifier was not turning on, allmost like a protection circuit kicked in to protect it. It has only happened twice since I have owned it. The next time I start the car its fine. I would chaulk this up to an electronic brain cramp. No biggie.
