Run a transmission control unit test to see if any error codes are stored. You may find out what's causing the problem. Other than that, all I can do is toss out ideas that may or may not be right. It could be fluid problems, brake/band problems, solenoids, wiring, bad ground to the engine/trans, a hundred things.
