Hi;

OK - I've read all the post about how to prgram the remote - get inside and lock driver door and insert key min. 6 times in 10 seconds to get hazard lights to flash - this part works fine. however - when I press the lock button on the remote nothing happens. Now - I just bought this remote from Nissan and when I talked to them they said that since this vehicle never came with a remote - even though it is configured for remote entry, they need to remove the driver door panel and configure something before the programming phase will work. My question is what is it that they have to do - they say it will only take about 1/2 hour, but is it something I can do myself instead of having to pay them ?
