well i took off my tires and checked the rotors and pads and everything is fine and on the way it should be..i have always changed the pads and rotors and cars by myself and never had a problem till this time...keep in mind that it does not ALWAYS grind when braking, just sometimes. and when it does decide to grind, if i brake very very very softly it wont make the noise, but pressing any harder causes the grinding noise to start.

What year, model and type of brakes? Front or rear? Guessing games are tough over the internet...

Did you use ceramic or metallic pads? Metallics will do that. You need to use ceramics on Pathfinders.
