Manual Hub for 2001 PF?

Is there a way to install manual hubs on a 2001 pathfinder? I have 4 wheel drive with the Auto switch (LE). I am thinking, if a manual hub is installed, I can may be save gas?? any thoughts?

Yeah you can. I read a thread a while back on it. I would search around or just go through the first couple pages since the forum is pretty slow.

You might want to read this thread. Its a 98 QX4 but similar transfer case.

4x4parts.com forums: 4wd error light- QX4 manual hubs

Not sure how much of this applies to your 2001, but there have been other threads warning against using it with your transfer case setup.

Thats good to know.. I was considering this originally for saving gas.. dont want to see any blinking lights though.. I think I will stick with stock setup.. what is the milage for 2WD pathfinder anyway??
