I'm trying to replace the bulb in my front parking/turn signal lights. My Chilton's manual says only one screw on the top needs to be removed, and the parking light housing will pull out. I removed the screw, which allows the housing to wiggle out about 1/2 inch, but it will not come all the way out. It seems to be retained by something else. I don't want to pull hard, because I might break the housing. What am I missing?

pull it hard towards you. it will pop. you need to pull it horizontally.

Outstanding advice. It worked just as you said. I can't believe I had to pull so hard. I was certain a plastic part was broken when it finally popped, but no, everything was fine.

For the next guy...

You have to pull the housing straight forward, harder than you might expect. There is a hidden snap-fit pin on the lower inboard portion of the housing, so try to grab the light housing in that area.
