03 SE 4X4 Suspension

Whenever there is a payload of a few hundred pounds in back, or trailering with a bit of tongue weight, the rear end acts as if entirely undersprung or dampened for loads. What solutions are there?

put stiffer shocks in.
Old Man Emu, Rancho....it's too bad Bilstein doesn't specify a shock for the PF.

Air bags are another option.

Yeah, I'm finding out there aren't a whole lot of choices in shocks for this year model.

I was told to look into coilover shocks, but can't find them either.

I assume you meant air shocks. I'd rather not go that route, but may have to. The towing capacity on this model is really pathetic.

No, there is an air bag (bag's not quite the right word) set-up...I've seen it somewhere. they go in the coils. Can't find my link right this second...

The OME seem to be a great fix (http://members.cox.net/mainpages/suspension.htm)

Thanks

Looks like the OME springs are a good start, coupled with some new shocks. The comparison pic pretty much sums it up.

4x4parts.com offers a good shock setup with a 3" lift kit if you want extra clearance. Just my opinion if I ever need to replace my shocks...
