buy a starmate or a sportster and you can "install" it yourself. Basically it's an ipod (or slightly larger) sized unit that sits on your dash and transmits to your radio - you pick an unused FM station. Cheapest, cleanest, easiest option.

I have on in my 05.

The 06 is prewired for SAT.
I bought the receiver, mounting bracket and on glass antenna online and installed it my self.
It's not too hard to install, you will have to dismantle a little of the lower drivers side dash board to install the receiver in the factory location.

definitely get the factory SAT unit that plugs into teh prewired head unit. SO much better than an add-on that sit on the dash. . .

I'd double check that.

I called Nissan Customer Service and was told that all 06 Pathinders are prewired for SAT.
I bought the OEM Sirius receiver.

i installed mine in the 2005 SE. It was "prewired" for the head unit and sm add on unit. I jsut had to plug the unit into the connector under that dash.

The antenna was NOT prewired. I had to run the wire from the glass mount antenna, through the door/wind frame and to the area under the dash. It wasnt too difficult.

What problem are you running into?
