got a 1990 xe and its first "problem".....when i acclerate through first and second gear i get a deep vibration under my foot. It seems the floor dips down under the gas and brake pedal area and i dont know if this is the way the car was designed or it aquired this weird trait. there seems to be a smaller revolving driveshaft and it seems to be brushing on the bottom of this dip....how do i solve this?

Seems like to me your floor is rusting out huh?...I'd say replace it with some new metal...this should solve your foot through the floor problem..
