reduced power
My 03 Pathfinder suddenly lost power, soon after that the check engine light came on, and since then the car seems like it's in some kind of "reduced power" mode. It barely accelerates and at 50mph/80kph you need to downshift to 4th just to slightly accelerate. It's as if it's lost more than half the power. If you stay in 5th and floor it it won't accelerate. This is the current condition, but this did all start while the car was very fully loaded and been on the road for hours on the way back home from a camping trip. Now it's all unloaded but the light and power problem are this way. Any clue at all what this may be? When it was loaded up it even stalled a couple times.
