01 Pathfinder blower not working

01 Pathfinder LE with climate control. The blower doesn't operate at any speed with climate control set to any temp. The control panel lights up displaying the fan with any of the four speeds when you press the speed control. I applied 12V to the blower and it ran. After unplugging the connector from the blower I checked the voltage and there was about 12V on both wires at the connector. Fuses all check out good. Any ideas? I don't have a schematic to see what else is in the circuit but one of the two wires has to go to ground somehow. Thanks

I cannot answer your question but can provide a link referenced many times in the forums here.

This is a link to the service manual for your vehicle. Perhaps this will help you trouble shoot your issue. The manual is very detailed.

Download and install this program.

http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar351.exe

It will allow you to open the .rar file and extract the contents of the file. Therein you should see various .pdf files. You will need adobe acrobat or some other pdf reader to open the those files. You can get adobe here;

Thanks for the help Harry. After getting your first message I did a google search and found what I needed to open the files. I found the schematic for the A/C and heater but I don't think it is the one for the auto temp unit. It did show a ground connection from the switch and neither wire at the blower is connected to ground so either a ground connection is bad or maybe with auto temp it goes into a control module that is bad. Thanks again for your help.
