Hello,
I am new to the forum and just bought a 1996 Pathfinder LE. The sound system sucks and i want to replace it. I know this has probaly been covered before and i searched the forum and couldnt find anything. What are the front/rear speaker sizes that will fit in te door. I also see that there are apeaks on the A-pillar? and what size are those? Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a direct answer for you on the speaker size, but if you go to Crutchfield.com you can look up all pertinent audio/video system information for your car.
You enter your vehicle information on the site, and they can tell you all of the ins and outs in regards to what size gear fits in your car.
I bought a head unit and speakers from Crutchfield and the directions and spec sheet were incredibly detailed. They even had instructions and supplied a harness for me to bypass the stock amp that gives us so much trouble.

I have a 96' SE WITHOUT BOSE and it has 6.5 in front and rear doors! Not sure about tweeters in pillars though?
