Hi, new to this nissan stuff. I went to change the ball joints in the wifes truck last night and I have both ball joints broken from the steering knuckle and the ball joint unbolted from the control arm, but the CV joint is in the way, preventing me from removing the ball joint.

Is there any quick trick around this or do I have to pull the rotor and pull the hub apart to drop the axle shaft??

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

The factory service book says to get the lower ball joint out, you must separate the drive axle from the hub. Good luck.
