Brake / Reverse light problems
91 Pathfinder SE
Recently both the brake lights and the reverse lights have stopped working and I can't figure it out. The bulbs have all been replaced, switch for the reverse lights seems fine as does the brake light switch.
I did notice that the running lights are the 2nd (small/dim) filament on the brake light bulb and they work fine. But on one of the bulbs it seems that one end of the brake filament popped/burned off and jumped to the OTHER filament holder. Not sure if that caused some nasty short or overload somewhere but if it did..... I cant find it.
Checked all the fuses that I know of (under the dash and in relay box under the hood) but I'm wondering if theres a relay(s) involved somewhere. I've found what appears to be 3 relays in the rear just behind the driver side wheelwell, 3 above the fuses in the dash and 3 more under the hood (main, check and horn).
If anyone has any ideas or maybe the wiring diagrams with colour codes I could use the help.
