Talking Nissan will fix your Loose Running Boards!!

The black part on top of my running boards come loose after a long trip or after I go through the car wash. I told the dealership about it and they are replacing the whole assembly for free. Anyone else have this problem?

I notice on mine that you can kind of lift the corners up a bit.
so I was thinking that the way it was mounted, screw or glue was getting loose.
hopefully it doesnt get that worse that is falls off. should I take action now to fix it if nothing is obviously wrong yet?

I noticed mine was like that too about 2 months ago, but after washing it every weekend when it's loose, i'm guessing the water did something with the double sided tape. It didn't bother me at first, but since I drive a lot I did not want it to fall off and I have to replace it since the warranty does not cover anything I loose. Up to you if you want to get it fixed.

Is this problem covered under the nissan extended warranty? I am just over 40k and don't know if my bumper to bumper 100k extended warranty covers this problem.

It might. You should call the dealership to make sure. What year Pathfinder do you have?
