1998 2wd pathfinder trasmission problem

i have a 2wd rdw 1998 pathfinder, it is stuck in fowarding gears... in park, in nuetral, in reverse... you give it gas and it just slips and then starts to creep forward. i need somene help... has this happened to anyone else? i checked the linkage its all intact and working proper. is this tranny cashed out? or is the computer having a prob?

Since you mention park, I sopose it is automatic. did you check the fluid?

when did you have the tranny last serviced?

yes fluid is fine and the tranny has 140k i dont know the last service my sister bought it 1 year ago
