Exclamation Turn signals won't shut off after servicing...

Greetings,
I have a 97 Pathfinder with 167k miles on it. I just picked it up from the shop this afternoon after having a fairly extensive front end service. Now my turn signals won't shut off after I complete a turn. Nissan is essentially telling me that I had the problem when I brought it in, blah, blah. I did not. Here is all I had serviced:

replaced the power rack & pinion & rack bushings
replaced the right front inner axle seal & inner bearing collar
replaced the timing belt & tensioner
replaced spark plug, fuel filter & had a battery service
15,000 mile service

If anyone has any thoughts as to why the turn signals would stop functioning after this repair, please let me know. I am taking it back in 2 days, but I refuse to pay for a problem that I believe was caused in the shop. Thank you for any suggestions.

-John

The blinker reset is done inside the steering wheel. It is quite possable that after doing the frount end work, they aligned the steering wheel (if it is not master splined) and it was messed up then?

Thanks Xeno

I really appreciate the reply, at least that gives something to go back with. If anyone else has any other input that would be fantastic. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Issue resolved.

The signal actuator switch was caught inside the housing on the steering column (or something to that degree). The dealship admitted it was their oversight and promptly took care of it. As for the attitude of the Customer Service Rep., well that's another story, but he was taken care of too.....

Thanks again for the input.
