i just recently changed out my entire bose system. there is alot of crap (amps, brackets) that i thru away because bose sucks. anyway i just went out and bought a dash bezel for the reciever for a pathfinder and it looks better than stock. it is a pain wiring all the speakers all over again and fitting new tweeters in the a pillars. but with 4-6 hours it can all be done the right way. you might have to modify the speaker mounts on the doors a little to get the speakers to mount flush. just a little plastic trimming.

Car Radi Install

If I were you I would check out Crutchfield. They have install kits, instructions, and wire harnesses specifically for your car. These items come free if you buy your head unit or speakers from Crutchfield.
I replaced the head unit and speakers on my '91 Pathy with a unit from Crutchfield and it only took an hour.
Although, I don't believe I removed all of the old factory amps and crap, I believe the harness Crutchfield gave me bypassed them.
