Exclamation hid upgrade HELP

02 pathfinder LE (4x4 - it matters for the lights... lol)

i have ordered an hid plug and play, however i have one simple problem. the bulb has three prongs. the hid only has two. i need to know, which is the ground and which is the power? also, will i be losing brights, or lows, if i only plug into one or the other? please help! thanks alot

Unless I'm mistaken, they're Hi/Ground/Low (left to right). You'll lose one or the other, depending on how you hook it up. I initially lost hi's cause I hooked up ground and low.

I looked into these HID's for my '01, and decided against it because:

When hooked up correctly, you lose your high-beams, and your driving lights (if your truck has them, mine does).

It's not hard to figure out which wire is high & low beams with a volt meter. You'll have to leave the high-beam positive wire totally disconnected, that's probably why you only have two wires on the hid harness, as it doesn't use it.
