Remote / Key FOB Issues

I just bought the egg shaped remotes off of ebay, 30 bux for 2.....

I got program instructions and i got one to work (although it takes a bit of work for it to lock/unlock doors) , but the other i couldn't figure out how to make it work....

My question is do these remotes usually have this trouble with locking/unlocking doors. I mean on my ford i only press once and the doors lock/unlock, on the Pathfinder i have to keep on pressing until it unlocks/locks. Any ideas. Thanx.

Dunno bout programming the Fob..
But on my '02 & '05, one push on "Lock" locks all doors. One push on "Unlock" only unlocks driver's door.. then you have to hit Unlock again within so many seconds to unlock All doors. Sometimes i miss the delay and have to hit Unlock a few times to unlock all the doors.
The range is pretty good though.. even w/ 3-yr old batteries, i can lock my car from across the parking lot at work, like ~15 cars away.

Are they used FOBs? Maybe the batteries are low/dead. I think there's a limit to the number of FOBs the computer will program for and I think it depends on the year...2 or 3 or 4 FOBs, which may explain why the other won't program at all. I think there's a way to reset what FOBs the computer accepts (back to zero) but I don't know what it is.
