Took my 05 pathfinder in to the dealer today for a list of things i have had come up over the months.
1) rusted tailgate under the chrome license plate finisher (tsb)
2) buzzing/rattling passenger door speaker (bose)
3) intake rattle around 2200 rpm (tsb)
4) moon roof tilt feature wont shut, it will reopen itself a couple times before finally staying shut (intermitent problem)
5) water gurgle from dash when ac/heat is on

has anyone else run into any of these issues? have they been repaired? just curious about peoples experiences with these problems and how the repairs went...

10k miles purchased in aug 05 so its not even 8 months old.

My 06 - with 2 months 2000 miles

right passenger door speaker (bose) is rattling on some songs, probably will get worse.

-I still have terrible creaking, will have it checked with my 2500 service.

I had #3 and still have #4 on your list. They said the ECM software update they did would fix the sunroof.... B.S. I have 25,000 miles, 14 months and am sick of this car. It needs to go back to the dealer for the 4th time right now for the drive belt squealing.

jrex- so you had the same symptoms with the moonroof? interesting...anyone else have this problem?

-they called me and said its "done" only knocked off 2 of the items need parts for a couple, and couldnt replicate the moonroof, go figure...it'll be going back sometime to get the rest done (tailgate, speaker etc)

Yeah they told me they could not replicate the moonroof symptoms too. I don't tip it up too much so I guess it is not that big a deal until it sticks in the rain.

I have a rattle on my right passenger door as well. I found mine to be the plastic that covers/surrounds the door handle. The dealer ordered me a new one and replaced it, but in doing so, broke one of the clips to the cover and now is ordering me a new one. Apparently, the clips on these plastic pieces are very delicate and break easily.

# 5 is air in the cooling system. Nissan issued a service bulletin for this.

got my vehicle last night, anyone live near PA? well if you do you know we got a pretty good hail and rain storm, and the dealership left my car outside with the moonroof opened partially, drenching my interior! took it home and inspected, front LEATHER seats and rear carpet took a good bath i will be calling today to demand they document this. NOT happy at all. guy was very apologetic, but it still happened and they are still liable...

Was it left in the tipped up position?

they closed it before he drove it over to me but i am assuming definitely wasnt completely open...which leads me to believe that it did what they said it DOESNT do and reopened itself, and they said they couldnt replicate it...
so either
a) the sevice guy left it tilted open (negligence)
b) it did EXACTLY what i said it does (and they said it doesnt do) and caused what i took it in for not to happen to happen. make sense?

Makes perfect sense. I was wondering because when I picked mine up from the dealer when they were supposed to look at my moonroof issue, mine was left in the tilted up position. No rain or anything, but I got mine from the spot it had been parked in all night and the roof was up. I was thinking it was one of the 2 things you mentioned also but I did not bring it up to the dealer because I was already PO'ed at them and knew if I went back in I would blow a gasket.
