Light comes and goes depending on type of driving. When I do alot of interstate driving the light goes away. But alot of around town driving and the light comes on and code P0400 exhaust gas recirculation malfunction comes up.

Any ideas? Some say there is a solenoid that typically goes kaput on these puppies. Again, any ideas?

Do a search for P0400. You'll get about 20 or so results. Read up on them, they explain what causes the code and how to fix the problem.
