Hey,
Shouldn't it be possible to retrofit the VG30s that have the 60K timing belt with sprockets for a 100K belt? I bet if so, those sprockets would cost an arm and a leg, unless a parts store would carry them...or a junkyard. Hmmm. I may have to look into a junkyard.

Nice idea, but you may find out it won't work. According to the parts lookup for NissanPartsCheap.com, cams are different between early and mid '90s. This may be for other reasons, but could also be that the gears are splined differently. The 3 gears and belt would run around $100, so it wouldn't cost too much to try.
