tow hook removal question on '05

Hey all

Im trying to install the westin bull bar on my pathfinder, but for the life of me cant remove the bolts from the tow hook. If anyone has removed them, what did you use to get them off. Am i just that weak???

Can't say I've tried doing this, but I would imagine a regular 12" long ratchet may not do it. Since these hooks are designed to hold the weight of the vehicle, I imagine they are on there pretty good. If you have access to an pneumatic impact, try that. Or, get a 1/2" drive breaker bar, about 2 feet long and give that a try....

1/2" breaker bar and 3' of 1" pipe works wonders.
